My dear grandchildren, congratulations, today you have become first graders. You are already so big, and just recently, as if it were just yesterday, I and your parents took you little ones from the maternity hospital. May your school life be full of joyful events. Study well. Bring home only “4” or “5” in your diary. Don't skip classes, don't upset us. I wish you to be successful students, finish first grade with excellent marks, and become equally good second graders.
